I am KevtheStampede, and I am the movie guy. I’d tell you I’ve been sent from the future, by your future selves, to determine what films you should and shouldn’t be seeing; but then, heh, you’d think I was crazy. Movies are my life blood. Not only do I spend way to much time at the theater every weekend, I even buy all the new, worthy video releases on Blu Ray week to week. Sure, I have a day job and a wife. But I still make time for the movies because, well….you know, its important. Keep up with my reviews, and you’ll see a few really good films; a few that might save your soul, even. But back to what I was saying at the start; seriously, come with me if you want to live.

Dr.Rabbitfoot
Dearest Audience,
I am called Dr. Rabbitfoot, I have chosen this nom de plume, for one, because it’s cool, and you didn’t think of it first, secondly, the name comes from Peter Straub’s Ghost Story. The character of Dr. Rabbitfoot is the bandleader of the dead. On quiet, haunted evenings, should one ever hear a lost orchestration playing off in the distance, this is the good doctor doing his/my thing. Everything I do I try to surround myself with the best possible soundtrack. Should I die, I want a soundtrack. My main concern though is, for the most part, looking at things that I am excited about which is probably stuff you don’t know about. I like everything though, but I feel that if I can get you into stuff you might never have heard, I have done a good job. Feel free to send me suggestions. Kevin! Music Player!

Hey guys- I’m Mary Baz, the book girl. I am a bonafide English nerd, complete with glasses and a weakness for eloquent language. I am a career student pursuing an English degree and plan to continue on to a Masters in awesomeness. I’d like to think of myself as a writer but that hardly pays the bills these days, so I punch the proverbial clock in the Writing Center at Lamar University. I’m no book snob, but I’ve recently fallen back in love with the classics (i.e. the boring shit). So now I’m on the fast reading track to keep up with the new releases and current trends in literature, so you (yes, you!) should give me a shout out, let me know what you are reading, what you want to hear about, and what you think constitutes a great story. I’ve even ventured into comic books lately, so please share your graphic novel goodness with me! And don’t forget to check out Kev’s movie reviews, the Dr.’s music news and reviews, and Kurtisfield’s video game reviews- they really know their stuff and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

So, I guess I’ll start with a simple introduction. Hi, my name is Kurtis. I am unusually clumsy, hence the name Kurtisfield, because Kevin says that I leave a trail of death and destruction wherever I may go. I’ve been deemed “The Game Guy”. Quite the dubious title, if I do say so myself. I immerse myself in all aspects of pop culture, but this just happens to be my area of expertise, I suppose. Well, first of all, I will say that I have no bias to a particular platform, be it anything from PC to the Wii. To me, a good game can be as captivating as a good book. I do, however, have a notorious temper whilst playing games… Just ask Kevin how many times he has heard MOTHEREFFIN’ ALLIANCE! during my WoW period…

Hey kids! I’m Pete, otherwise known as the SleeperWolf, and I like comics… a lot. So much so, that KevtheStampede has asked that I share what I’m reading with the rest of you pop culture freaks. Each week I’ll provide a list of the books I will most likely be buying that Wednesday (Comic Book Day!) and some quick 1 paragraph reviews of last week’s books. Remember, I’m just one person with an opinion and it’s probably wrong. Alright, here we go…
